Morning routine that made a difference in my life and — why you should have a morning routine & how to adopt?

Mornings can be stressful for so many of us, because we have to get ready 🚿 , have breakfast 🍞 and step out of the door to get to work 🚌 …. but for me mornings are the best part of the day, because I believe how the day begins offers a glimpse of how our day is going to be.

Why should you adopt a morning routine?

Our bodies are comfortable with a morning routine rather than distinct mornings, you will surely notice that when you start. When something becomes routine we no longer have to think about it, it’s on autopilot. Instead of using will power to decide whether or not to work out that day, you will work out because it’s the part of your routine.

How to adopt a morning routine?

Purpose makes a change

  1. Its so easy to caught up with the warm and lovely feel of staying on the bed, but if you identify with WHAT YOU WANT TO DO AT THAT TIME and if you see with your brain it feels so better than to get few more mins or hours sleep. This is one of the reasons why I plan my day before it begins so that I will have a purpose to get up early.
  2. My actual day starts between 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM. Getting out of the bed before the sun rises can really be challenging, so be ready to get uncomfortable in the beginning. Don’t make your body uncomfortable by taking a drastic change like waking up at 5 AM if you generally wake up at 7 or after. Take it slow & steady, wake up 15mins early than your regular time & when you are comfortable with that repeat it.

I believe a productive day starts the night before

My day starts the night before because of Mark Zuckerberg now don’t get me wrong. We all know that he wears the same T-shirt every day because he doesn’t want to spend time on such decisions, in my case I don’t want to spend my most productive time of the day on planning.

So when do we plan the day?

Before going to bed take 15–20mins time & decide

  1. Which dress to wear (we are not the owners of Facebook right😄).
  2. Plan your day.
  3. If need, take a bit of time & prepare the ingredients needed for cooking.

The first thing we feel is alarm sound, to make it pleasant I got some tips.

Tips on how to set your Alarm

You snooze you lose, drop the habit of hitting snooze.

  1. Don’t ever keep alarm anywhere near you, it should be at least 5 feet away from the bed or best to keep it in another room.
  2. Set alarm 15–20 mins prior to your wake up time.
  3. Set a pleasant or your favorite tone to the alarm.

Make your bed

The first thing I do when I woke up is making my bed, I recommend you to do it and it won’t take more than 2mins. So that when you come to bed at the end of the day which was already made, you feel a lot better.

Lemon water

After that I will drink a full glass of lemon water which will hydrate the body, trust after me 6–7 hrs without any liquidizes human body needs a break.

Cold shower

Then I will stretch my body for 15min and take a cold shower which will make body and mind kick start for the day. Ho god cold shower!!! I know, but try it you will realize how fresh & energetic your morning is going to be.

Make your breakfast

Giving the body healthy and tasty breakfast is most important to your health in long term. I will have 4slices of brown bread with peanut butter (a lot ) after that I will make my 🍌 smoothie and enjoy it while I m working on my projects, after 30–45 mins later I will eat 3–4 egg whites which give a ton of protein to my body.

Spend your time with your loved ones while your having breakfast talk to them make some jokes have a good time. Being with your loved ones is equally import with being productive.

Work on my dream projects

Apart from work we all have dream projects like to start blogging, start a youtube channel……. I work on my projects for 1–1:30hrs as I said enjoying with my 🍌 smoothie. I believe apart from working career you should always do something that makes you happy on daily basis.

How you do anything is, how you do everything

By this point, I will reach the time where I should start to work with full energy and a positive feeling that I already had accomplished something today.

A good start in the race gives you better chances to win likewise have a good morning routine so that you will have better chances to spend the whole day as you planned.
